It is with great pride and deep gratitude that I extend my heartfelt greetings to all members of the Notre Dame College community—students, faculty, parents, alumni, and well-wishers.
Notre Dame College, founded and administered by the Congregation of Holy Cross, has long stood as a beacon of academic excellence, moral integrity, and spiritual formation in Bangladesh. For decades, it has produced generations of leaders, scholars, and professionals who have gone on to serve the nation and the world with distinction. This enduring legacy is a testament to the college’s unwavering commitment to holistic education—one that forms not just the intellect, but also the heart and character.
As Chairman of the Governing Body, I am privileged to witness the remarkable work being carried out by the college in nurturing young minds. At the core of Notre Dame's philosophy is the belief that education must prepare students not only for success in examinations, but for a life of purpose, service, and ethical responsibility. We aim to foster independent thinking grounded in faith, discipline, and compassion—values that are more important now than ever before.
The role of the Governing Body is to support and uphold the mission of the college, ensuring that it continues to thrive in a rapidly changing world while remaining rooted in its foundational values. We work closely with the Principal, faculty, and administrative staff to provide strategic direction, oversight, and encouragement. We are also committed to creating an environment that empowers students to grow into well-rounded individuals capable of contributing meaningfully to society.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the dedicated faculty members whose tireless efforts continue to shape the future of our students, and to the parents who place their trust in our care. Above all, I commend the students of Notre Dame College, whose enthusiasm, discipline, and aspiration for excellence embody the true spirit of this institution.
As we look ahead, may Notre Dame College continue to flourish as a center of light and truth—**“Lux et Veritas”—**forming individuals who will serve the world with faith, wisdom, and courage.
